Before application, place a towel over your shoulders to protect your clothes from colour transfer. There are several ways to use Rainbow Paste to suit your style needs. This product is best suited to short hair or slicked back hairstyles, ideas include a sleek ponytail or a tight ballet bun. The formula does not dry completely matte, therefore we suggest considering hairstyles that suit a wet look.

Dry hair techniques:
If you apply the paste directly on to dry hair, we recommend styling your hair first before applying the product i.e. style your sleek ponytail and then add the paste. Take a very small amount of product from the pot, rub into the palm of your hands and run over hair. Alternatively apply an even amount of product on to a comb and comb through the hair or use a tint brush to sweep delicately on to the hair. To mould and shape hair, smooth paste over hair into the shape you want. Remember to wash and dry your hands between applying different colours.

Damp Hair techniques:
Towel dry hair so that its damp, not wet. Take a small amount of product and rub hands together in the palms of your hands, apply to the hair in a stroking manner. Dry hair with a hairdryer, brushing it through with a hairbrush. The colour will dry into the hair, resulting in a colourful finish with movement. You can also repeat the dry hair techniques on wet hair for an intense wet look.

Caution: Please conduct a skin patch test at least 48 hours before. Do not use heated tongs or straighteners on your hair after application, it may damage hair. After application, wash your hands to remove any residual colour.
